Good morning children! How are you?

 Today, your books are going to rest, I'm going to explain a new task for you.

It's very easy 😀, but  you'll have the instructions in Spanish.

• Os voy a enseñar cinco textos, acerca de diferentes temas. 
• Dave os los va a leer, fijaos en su pronunciación. 
• Una vez que hayas escuchado y leído los cinco, tienes que elegir uno, el que más te guste. 
• Prepáralo: escucha a Dave con atención, las veces que necesites, vete parando el video y trata de memorizar su pronunciación. 
• Repite poco a poco las palabras y oraciones, intentando imitar la pronunciación de Dave. 
• Cuando ya te salga bien, pídele a alguien de tu familia que te grabe leyendo el texto, NO es necesario que se te vea a ti en el vídeo, y envíamelo a englishjesusmaestro@gmail.com.

Tienes que hacer un pequeño proyecto acerca de la vida en la época de tus bisabuelos (great-grandparents).

Para hacerlos, puedes hacerles preguntas a tus padres o a tus abuelos.

El proyecto puede estar en el formato que tú quieras. No muy largo, es mejor que des pocos datos, y que estén bien. Por ejemplo, una extensión de un folio, es perfecta.

Guíate por los ejemplos que vienen en el libro (las fotos de arriba)

Cualquier duda que tengas, pregúntame en class dojo.

It's very easy, don't worry.

Here are some instructions in Spanish.

• El examen es un quizizz de 20 preguntas.
• Hay tiempo suficiente para responder a cada pregunta, no te preocupes.
• Algunas preguntas son de marcar la opción correcta, hay una pregunta en la que tendrás que marcar más de una opción, y otras preguntas son de escribir.
• Hay preguntas en las que tendrás que leer un pequeño texto, si pinchas en el texto, se hará más grande.
• No utilices el libro, confía en lo que sabes 😊
• Si la primera vez no te sale muy bien, no te preocupes, puedes repetirlo, tendré en cuenta tu esfuerzo.
• Puedes realizar el test durante todo el día, hasta las 22:00.

Exercise 20: contesta a estas preguntas relacionadas con el texto que acabas de escuchar.

Exercise 19, listen and read.

I'll help you with some words:

Scotland: Escocia        Scottish: escocés

kilt: falda escocesa

tartan: tela escocesa 

highland: zona montañosa, tierras altas

tied: pasado de tie, atar.

waist: cintura

belt: cinturón

sporran: pequeña bolsa o cartera de cuero, tradicional escocesa.

blanket: manta

bagpipe: gaita

Exercise 20. 

Now, it's time to do the culture quiz about Scotland.

Listen to the questions, and try to guess the answers.

Write the answers on a recycled paper.

And now, correct yourself! Click on the picture to see the answers.

You can tell me in comments, how many correct answers you have.

Hello kids! What's up? 😄 I hope you are well.

Today, you are going to learn something more about the past simple.

* para formar el pasado simple de verbos regulares, añadimos -ed: look - looked. 
* si el verbo acaba en -e, añadimos -d: live - lived
* si el verbo acaba en y, la cambiamos por i y añadimos -ed: try - tried
* si las tres últimas letras del verbo son consonante, vocal, consonante, doblamos la última consonante y añadimos -ed: stop - stopped

Now please, open your activity book, page 47, exercises 11 and 12.

exercise 11: escribe el pasado de cada verbo siguiendo las normas que hemos aprendido hoy.
exercise 12: corrige estas oraciones. Tienen que ver con el texto del pupil's book, page 48.

And now, it's time to have some fun. You are going to review some vocabulary (units 1 to 4) with this games. Try the games you want, but please, tell me in comments which is your favourite! Vas a repasar el vocabulario de los cuatro primeros temas, prueba los juegos que quieras, pero dime en comentarios cuál es tu favorito. 🎮
